March 2010 Omaha Real Estate Market
Report for Sarpy County. March 2010 is off to a good start. March 2010 active listings were 965, compared
888 in March 2009 an increase of 9%.
Sold listings for March 2010 increased 32% compared to March 2009.
The increase in active listings is not a surprise. Spring is around the corner and the best time
to sell a home is now through July. The race is on for home buyers and sellers
to take advantage of the federal tax credit offered to home buyers. The increase in active listings will have an
affect on pricing, so be sure to price you home competitively.
